Kingwood Pottery - early Grayshott
Picked up this nice early Grayshott vase with fine ribbed design and cream glaze on a stoneware body, marks KP England. Would say 1950s. Just done some research and the KP mark could be for the Kingwood Pottery in Brook before the change over to Grayshott, if so probably before 1956 being stoneware.

All I can say is “Possibly” by Joy Real, but you’d need to ask Mick Dixon, who’s now at Bartley Heath Pottery, to be sure

Sorry, mine were Greystoke Gill, a bit of a difference
Yes, isn't almost everything going cheap nowadays. The pottery scene wasn't doing that well anyway, but with all of this Brexit uncertainty around it seems to have dipped again, unless you have something really special.
I remember seeing a pile of Leaper plates on ebay a year or so back, I think they made around £15 or so if I remember rightly.

Grayshott also supply the restaurant trade under the name Surrey Ceramics, and have some rather big name customers including Wagamama, Nando's, and Frankie and Benny's.
Nice to see a British pottery still going strong.
