Yes, very tactile, and love the wrinkled skin-like surface of the glaze as it drips down the sides.

Nothing remotely African about either pot though and Dennawi sounds like a Muslim name.
I know that there are many Muslims in Northern Africa so it could have been made there but the form is not North African.

Ah, interesting.
I tried various combinations of name and Dennawi was the only one that popped up as a proper name.
Another pot in the batch was stamped TEAL, but a bit plainer than these two
