Figural studio pottery, R mark or JR mark - Barnoldswick, Pendle, Lancs

Could you please help me to id this nicely modelled figure of an old woman wearing a shawl made in the form of a candle snuffer.
The is a painted mark on the underside.
Height 8.5cm
 

Another figure by the same hand and considerably larger. This in the form of a Witch with a cheerful expression, broomstick and black cat. It has an impressed  potters seal on the base looks to be JR. I think this could have been made by a Northern Potter and 'Pendle Witch Country' is not far from where I live.
Height of this item is 17cm

Another model by the same hand. This time a model of a Bag Lady. I would love to know who JR is.

Me again, I have tried looking for Ps and Rs but no success yet, any ideas?

Thank you, I haven't found the ID but I have now found two unidentified things on this forum with the same mark!

Another example, with a word next to it. Might be French or Belgium??

Looking at the clear impressed mark, The possible R looks a bit odd.

Maybe J & reversed S, or even JCP JPC JCD JDC.

Found a pot with this JB stamp and a label for Barnoldswick in the Pendle district of Lancashire, so I suspect the figures were sold to tourists on the Pendle witches trail
