Contemporary Makers fairs at Aspex Gallery, Portsmouth
this fair is a flash in the pan event, only two days (Sat 15th/Sun 16th Feb 2014) so you'd need to get down there quick smart! I went to-day and bought a couple of pieces. I also loved the work of Elaine Bolt ( http://elainebolt.com/ ) but didn't have the funds to buy any today. I will be looking at her website and perhaps buying at a later date.

They have an exceptionally annoying website. Can't find a decent page on potters/ceramic artists. Keep getting sent round in circles, or it sends you off to Own Art where there isn't a straightforward listing for potters.
Grrr.
Grrr.

i know - and to be honest, the rest of the Aspex gallery's shows throughout the year are usually pretty awful and not worth the effort. But when real crafts people are given the opportunity to show their work, they come up trumps (Elaine Bolt is one person who exhibited last time and i loved her work)
