William Morris Gallery
Visited this gallery for the first time yesterday after meaning to go there for many years. It's all free and worth a visit if you are ever up in Walthamstow E17, N.E. London. Wednesday to Sunday 10am to 5pm.
As it states on the gallery website it is "the only public gallery devoted to the life and legacy of William Morris: designer, craftsman, socialist."
It was opened in 1950 and currently has an exhibition of the artist, Frank Brangwyn's First World War work as well as the permanent exhibits. Brangwyn did in fact donate a significant part of his own collection of Morris related items to the gallery that was instrumental in making it all possible.
