Tang Horse
Hi, I have a small (6cm high) Tang Horse which I think is period. Any views welcome.

Re: Tang Horse
I wouldn't like to hazard a guess. I believe these continued to be made in the 19th-20thC and are now regularly faked. Really needs an expert eye such as John Axford at Woolley & Wallis, and any going to auction need a certificate of authenticity from one of the thermo-luminescence dating companies.

Thanks. I have had a couple of people look at it (pictures) and they said they believe on the image that it looks right. I am thinking of sending it to Oxford to be tested (price not to bad). The thing I like about it is that it's such a humble item compared to many that you see.
