Unidentified Impressionist Painting

Can anyone help to identify this recently acquired unframed impressionist oil painting on canvas of an old rowing boat at the edge of a lake. It is signed but as you can see quite hard to work out the name. I have played around with the colour filters on the 4th picture to try and make it a little clearer.

Lovely picture, but it looks suspiciously like a Chinese name, and there are a lot of well known paintings being copied in China for the Western market.
