Leather and metal pot
Sorry for posting this here but I couldn't find a relevant section to post in - and my item is at least a pot!
It's leather with a metal rim. And both leather and metal appear to have been painted.
I've no idea of its age. It could be old or just made to look old.
Any help with identifying it would be much appreciated - and mods, feel free to move my post if you know where it ought to be - I couldn't find a section titled Odd Miscellaneous Things.

I have seen something like it in Marakech, they sell lots of leather goods in the souk and there is also a few tannerys there making leather in a very archaic way. The smell takes your breath away.
