32 cm diameter. I estimate it may be circa 1960's. Any thoughts?

Re: Soholm Stentoj, Bornholm, (Denmark)
gorgeous! are they signed? can we see a pic of the reverse please Dan? I know the one on the right hand side is a symmetrical graphic design but I feel like it should be turned 90degrees and represents a butterfly - odd, perhaps because it is next to the bird.

Re: Soholm Stentoj, Bornholm, (Denmark)
they are not signed m but I have found several on the internet all attributed to Noomi.
I agree about the butterfly but the inbuilt hanger determines which way up I can display them
I'll add a pic of the backs later as I'm on a laptop at present

Re: Soholm Stentoj, Bornholm, (Denmark)
The Soholm Stentoj (Soholm stoneware) factory opened in Ronne on the Danish island of Bornholm off the Swedish coast in 1835 and, I believe, is still in production. They have made stoneware items throughout the period but from the early 1930s they did produce some earthenware. The decoration on your bowl clearly suggests 20th century and maybe 1920s/1930s but from the mark I would think that it was later - 50s to 70s. I maybe wrong but there is little information to go on. There has been no great collectors market in the UK for this factory, even when Scandanavian items were at there peak, so I wouldn't think that it had any great value but is attractive enough. The painted V mark is almost certainly the mark of the painter, who carried out the decoration, and not the designer or thrower.
I hope that is of some help?
