This is the other piece my grandmother left. it is very, very lightweight and painted. The marking on the bottom is 44', and on the bottom of the stopper is 65. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reposting. I've deleted the other one.
Your pix are a little small. We recommend using 640 px width.

This looks like Bohemian milk glass. The stopper number and base number usually
match with each other, so maybe there was a pair at some time, and the stoppers
got mixed up?

Guessing late 19th/early 20thC.

Thank you! Using your advice as a guide i think I narrowed it down to a piece of bristol custard glass decanters. The images are similar and they have the same type if number markings on the bottom. Haven't found my number yet, so maybe it is one of a kind, but they seem to vary in price from 30 to $150.
