Re: Stunning Large Art Pottry Vase Id Help
Hi, welcome to the forum. Please can you post up a photo of the base as well please and give us some idea of the size of the vase.
Also, please can you put your location in your profile (the country would do) - 'home' doesn't tell us which part of the world you're in and that's often quite pertinent in helping ID items.
Thanks.

Re: Stunning Large Art Pottry Vase Id Help
I have collected 1800's glass for 10 years. I just recently have gotten an interest in art pottery.
I was doing my local Antique/Thrift run and saw the vase. I am an artist and this piece stood out to me.
I purchased it for $12 if you can believe that. It had felt attached to the bottom to protect it but I removed it to see
if there was a makers mark and there is none as you can see from the photos. I do love the piece but I am currently
re-selling pieces on ebay to pay my bills. So this piece will go up for auction at some point.
If I could afford to keep it I would. This is by far the coolest piece I have purchased ever. I love it.

Re: Stunning Large Art Pottry Vase Id Help
It is a great looking vase , a bit like what Sam Herman does with glass, nice freelowing , however ,without a signature or label I think it would be almost impossible to pinpoint the maker or age ,although there are some tiny nicks here and there ,it should do ok on ebay.Ed.

Re: Stunning Large Art Pottry Vase Id Help
Thats too bad. I would love to know who made it. I do need to clean it up still. The little marks do wipe away with water. I'll do that in a few. I am starting to fall in love with it though lol. I'm like that with art. I have quite a few paintings and I am that way about them too.
I know some one else will enjoy it just as much as I do though ....

Re: Stunning Large Art Pottry Vase Id Help
Thank you :-) Have split your eBay link off to the commercial sales section. Good luck! I agree with the others, it's a nice decorative piece and should do OK.
