Re: Louis Hudson, Cornwall
Louis Hudson produced this pattern but I think other companies had access to the moulds after he gave up

So it could be 1980s era.
Any idea who used moulds later?. I couldn’t find it online or on Hudson thread

The Hudson Pottery Ltd, Hudson Potteries, Trequoit, Tremar, Presingoll
I’ve checked out the Tremar and Hudson threads and put together a rough timeline for Hudson’s work. He was initially hand building in the 60s with Rooke and Wallwork in London.
Then started his own business in Cornwall c.1971 which became The Hudson Pottery Ltd where he started using moulds. Some moulded pots included his lh mark but others just had a label.
In the 80s he moved to Liskeard and started Trequoit Pottery, and Tremar (and Shelf in Halifax) used some of those moulds for their iconic pieces until going out of business in 1983 - the ones marked lh on the Tremar thread must be Hudson’s Trequoit Pottery. According to the online Cornwall Digital Museum, Hudson Potteries became Presingoll Pottery in the 1990s and continued using Hudson/Tremar moulds.
Hudson gave up pottery to become a lorry driver.
I’d call this a late The Hudson Pottery Ltd piece from the late 70s or early 80s.
Edited to add this quote from Graham Alcock of Shelf Pottery:

As an alternative to Tremar we bought stoneware from Trequoit Pottery which was designed by Louis Hudson. The ware was very similar to Tremar and the two could easily be confused. Louis had produced his range of stoneware for a long number of years and it is debatable as to which came first.

That’s really helpful Naomi, thank you so much.
I’d love to find more of his hand built pieces.
