a lot of this Corsican pottery is made on mainland France to be sold as tourist ware pieces by Jean Delespinasse for instance are often marked Corsica I dont know if this is the case here

thanks. I did find a list of Corsican potters once I looked up Ajaccio, so there is pottery going on there. Thanks for the lead though as I saw a beautiful De Lespinasse piece when I looked that up that I would never otherwise have seen - absolutely stunning.

I'm sure there are a lot of potters in Corsica this is a slip cast piece that could have been produced in Italy(see Derouta majolica) or France (or Corsica ) I would think anytime from the 50s to the 70s the decoration was added for sale in Corsica
