Re: Art In Action, Waterperry's Oxford
Just bumping this up as it's on again this year, 18th-21st July -
http://www.artinaction.org.uk/Venue-Location
We've been a couple of times in the past and it's a great event for kids and adults - painting, pyrography, pottery, etc, etc,
This time I'll pay more attention to the glass and ceramics in the exhibition tents, although some of the woodwork is to die for.

Christopher Taylor - Art In Action 2015
Found myself at Art In Action today. Didn't have much time to look round, or get into the action, but did fall in love with a piece by Christopher Taylor. Thankfully he's letting me pay by instalments, and was kind enough to let me walk out with it with just a 10% deposit. I'm humbled by some potters' faith in collectors. I'll reveal which one from the line ups, when I get it out of the bubblewrap and take better photos, but I will say that as I was leaving a gentleman hurried up and said "you didn't just buy the # one did you?" When I said yes, he added "I'll give you £££ for it!" "Sorry," I said " you should have bought it when you saw it".
