1950's Italian lamp base underglaze crayon- Ronzan

I know Italian stuff is virtually impossible to attribute, but I thought the style of design on this was so distinctive that it may be recognised. The base has a London retailers stamp for Elliott & ? Ltd. the second part is smudged. Any ideas please

I have seen similar pieces by Ronzan , very much his style ,sometimes signs with a childlike flower or name

Yes I rembered the Ronzan name from an earlier thread but I can't find anything similar.

I have a millers guide 2008 page 106 and there are two pots with this type of design the base is shown with a flower mark ,which ,although millers didn't know was ronzan mark , pretty sure that's what yours are Dave.

Hi, I have never seen this type of decoration before. Is it actually crayon or is that a technical term? Is this style very common? Thanks John

I know there is an underglazed chalk crayon available ,but don't know if this is it , I don't think these pieces are that common over here , ...well I haven't seen any Shrugs

I found this today. It has the same flower mark but also has the written mark LBCOOP. Would be interested in anybody's thoughts on the lettering. John
