Oriental hand painted porcelain plate with reticulated rim and marks
There were a pair of these delicate plates in a mixed lot I bought at auction many years ago. Not my thing, so they've been packed away. Just came across them again and thought I'd see if I could find out about them so I can sell them on. They seem to be good quality - even the back of the rim is painted with birds. As ever, any thoughts appreciated.
Thank you

Good quality Japanese painting. Cranes are very popular subjects. Probably late 19th Century.
Gotheborg.com has an extensive list of Japanese ceramics marks to narrow it down to a factory.

Thank you - will check it out, although last time I tried to access the website's marks section there was some sort of problem with the page. At least I know to check Japanese.
