Ivan Martin worked at Winchcombe, then set up his own pottery at Cricklade. The Winchcombe influence can be seen but this bowl is more thinly potted and lighter.

Below is a 9 inch (23 cm) jug by Ivan from when he was at Winchcombe (1947 to 1951) together with the mark.
