Do you think this is an oriental piece or pseudo oriental mark?

As always - I appreciate any ideas on where to look next.

Yes oriental. Mark is partly obscured with an ink blob, but probably just says 'made in xx province'.
Probably Japanese or Korean.
Despite the crazing of the glaze I doubt it's very old.
