Maker if possible for West German(?) drip glaze vase
When I told my Son I thought this type of vase, with holes in the body, would have a particular name he said "yes, hideous"! Having done some googling, I think it's called a frog vase - unless there is another name for them? Given the strength of filial feeling I won't be keeping it, but does anyone know who made it? The only mark is 124 and some old label residue on the base.
Many thanks
Cat
PS It is NOT hideous - it is a striking sculptural piece

Ed - you are amazing!
Yes, the label residue is the same shape as the label on the ebay piece. I had followed up your thought on Ruscha, but felt the foot rim was not tidy enough. I would never have thought of Israel.
Do you think we could get this moved to the resolved queries with KAD YAD Israel added to the title?
Thank you for your help.
