Art & Crafts? Style Planter
Another recent acquisition - Stands about 13cm tall. The writing on the base looks as if it has been scratched in after firing? so may be owners info?
Hard to tell whether its of some age, or comparatively modern. Anyway, only cost me 50p!
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Alan.

Looks like Nypiov 73 to me. I agree with Nik about it looking Greek. A lot of planters stocked by garden centres in recent years with this decorating technique so can't say if the 73 refers to a date or quantity or price.
