Impressionist boats 1950-60s looks to be an original
Hi
Framing looks 50's or 60's and behind non-reflective glass so maybe later.
Thanks for looking

Not within the visible part but I have not taken it out of the frame as yet. The canvas is strange, if I find once out that it is not a print, as it is ridged/rippled/dimpled across the entirety of the piece. Does that offer any clues as art is not my strong point.

Out of frame and a print textured paper mounted then on card. Called Boats in Blues and Greens by William Rutledge of Australia from 1966 - two on the web

Not exactly an over printed edition either. I wonder what the tale is behind it arriving here in the UK. If they were not imported in any great numbers perhaps someone carried it all the way home from Australia. It was framed reasonably locally to Reading, strange how items move around the world during their lifetime.

There was one of these on a stall in Utrecht today. I wasn't able to see who it was by though. Looks quite nice in the flesh.
