this is what i can make out out of what's wriiten on the bottle vase, is number20 CI OR CL not sure will look throw it again when am done from work :)

We had one like this in the charity shop recently, which had contained some sort of alcoholic beverage from Portugal.

where about is the charity shop let me go and buy it from then because i think is pretty and would appeal to one of interior designer client :)

Looks like a German Salt-Glazed Bottle.

Search for "Gerolsteiner Sprudel Gerolstein" on a popular auction site and you may find one similar, I assume produced by the same factory for that company.

It didn't sell so after a month on the shelves we threw it away.

can i ask something is handle meant to look like is broken? but it isn't broken because i carry mine from the handle wiggled it a lot and is firm... if yes? then what a delightful item :)

I think the Denby beer bottle is 3rd left in that picture. 1st left looks like a German Mineral Water bottle. These bottles turn up in the Thames all the time because the sailors used to throw them overboard when they were empty.

I was thinking more like this sort of thing.

bistoboy you where right i have just gone throw the letter on my vase bottle again and realize is letter G... just went throw that link you gave to now, it actually looks like it thou :) ... i might be with a winner with this one fingers cross :)
