Star and RS mark with GERMANY underneath dated ca.1925 until ca. 1935
The mark is also known as impressed mark ("etched" ?)

just shows how taste and collectibility is subjective and changes with the times i guess. I think there is a more traditional taste for antiques in the U.S than in Europe where mid 20thC modern is now a la mode
