Looks like a piece of 70s Lauriana pottery.
If you search google images for "Lauriana Studio Pottery Gourd Shaped Vase or Jug" you'll see a similar one.

Perhaps they should all be amalgamated into a Lauriana.
From what I can find, lauriana was the 'design name' for images bases on the Lascaux Cave Paintings, produced by Philip Laureston (Smith) of Babbacombe Pottery.

I should have read that post by Naomi first before adding the 'extra' info
Yeh her cat doesn't look like any cave painting I've seen. I wonder if the name was applied to a larger range than thought - or if there is another Lauriana / Lauri Ana out there.
