Hi

A 9 inch tall stoneware jug with signature/name/pottery impressed on side however the glaze has made it very hard to read. Anyone seen another piece and can help?

I've had this a while, but frustratingly I've never been able to read the mark to start searching.
Also..is this stoneware, and what type of glaze is it, is something added to the glaze to do that?
Can anyone help with my many questions please?

I have a candle holder and an owl with this mark; made in France. Seems to be a stamp that looks like it's handwritten. Can't recall the correct spelling but I think there's an N on the end.

Looks like an Ash glaze with iron flecks in the clay that has bled through on the surface

Good afternoon all.
I found this jug recently and was immediately taken by its colour. Although I found a small 'signature' in the glaze, I have totally failed to read (and subsequent find) the identity of the maker. Have any of you fine folk seem anything similar?

This has an almost lustre like green blue glaze, I have tried Googling all variations of the signature I can imagine but I'm getting nowhere. Does anybody recognise it? Thank you.
