Well I've searched my little cotton socks off, and haven't found anything similar. Only thing I've discovered is that the way in which the '7' is written, with the downward stroke at the front, is common in Korea and Japan to distinguish it from a '1' (whereas across Europe a slash across the long vertical line is used).
But none of the rest of the signature looks even faintly Korean or Japanese.

They don't look Korean or Japanese. More like Italian; a Picasso copycat. Signature seems to have a lot of Ts, Ls, Ms and/or Ws

I'd say the two vases owe as much to tribal art as they do to Picasso. And the fish look particularly Scandinavian.
So it's a conundrum, definitely.
