Diane Barraclough chicken

I think this is Diane Barraclough's mark, and she does make raku bird sculptures but in the book it says Sea birds, which this obviously isn't. I can't see anything similar on her website but she does make amazing garden sculptures.

yes it's a good match for her 1971 mark,I haven't seen her work though

Hello

Does this jump up at anyone with a distinctive glaze and finish above and below handle. The mark may be fully encircled as just on the last of the base rim.

Looks like the mark for Diana Barraclough in BSPM.

This bowl was lumped in with the mystery ms, and unidentified. Anyway found a
mark in the book whilst looking for something else. It seems to be the Wawcott
House (Newbury) mark used by Diana Barraclough 1971-77. Any thoughts?

I love this piece, acquired a fortnight ago - Church jumble, East Anglia - but whose mark is it, please?

Studio pottery has long been one of my things. This one floored me, ovoid, 40 x 34cm, on a raised and painted 4cm foot.

A 6 in owl tile. Not sure about the other mark, not really a "W", looks more
like 2 horse shoes side by side.

Very interesting. That UU mark is an unidentified one that I’ve seen several times on its own. Maybe Barraclough was sharing a kiln or making functional ware and only putting her personal mark on the more decorative and one off pieces

Hmm I wonder if the "W" in the book is incorrect, or if this is just an extra
unrecorded mark.

The set looks similar to the one posted by Malla above, so I think the W mark in the book is wrong. But that means your bowl from 2014 isn’t by Barraclough

W mark in the book is for Wawcott House in Newbury, where she was based in the 70s before moving to Hungerford.
Her bio says she returned to making tiles in the 80s which she’d loved making in College , not sure it can be for Wawcott house .
