Derby Potter Vase? Empty Derby Potter Vase?

Can anyone identify this vase please. All I can find out, is that Wardwick was a street name in Derby. I have not seen this design before and would very much like to know who made it and where. Glazing to the internal side only. I first thought it to be a spelling error within the markings, but I am not sure if it is.

H 24.4cm
Base Dia 12.6cm
Top Dia. 8.2cm

There are a lot of these over-painted Art Deco type vases around (many shapes / décor's), I've never known anything about who made them, but I assume there were several factory's producing them.

Almost all that I have seen, the decoration has been badly deteriorated. As far as I know they are quite unpopular, so it may be difficult to find out much about the maker. Shrugs

Still a lovely vase though. Ashame that it looks uncomplete. I have since found out that they were made around the 1930's, but like you said, it is difficult to ascertain who the maker is. Thanks for you help anyway.
