Hi

Originally felt based this 4.5 inch long brown stoneware egg did not reveal a mark except for a phamtom G perhaps. Any ideas on the maker? There is a free moving ball inside which seems intentional and released after firing via the whole shown.

The moving 'ball' is probably the plug of clay pushed into the hollow sphere when the hole was made on the bottom to allow the gasses to excape during firing.
What you really need is a W on the base for Wallwork. Happy
