Agreed, Italian. Probably modern, tin-glazed pottery, shaped and decorated in the traditional style. Maybe Savona.

Yes, 20th Century copy of a traditional Italian faience majolica vase.

If you search ebay for "Italian Faience Majolica Vase" you'll see similar ones.

The V could be Verona.

Actually, I think the mark is for the Pesaro region.

If you google "Italian faience ceramic armorial jug Pesaro double head eagle coat of arms" you'll see an older version of this jug.
