I've seen these by Crown Ducal and Royal Staffordshire...this is by J and G Meakin..were they all just allowed to have a go ??

Logic would suggest that the Australian Wine company wanted a large number that one company didn't have the capacity to produce so the total was split between several factories in the Potteries.
