N Devon twin handled pot - possibly Beauchamp Whimple
This has 'N DEVON' on the base and a monogram above looks like P and B superimposed. Above that obscured by glaze is another word. Does anyone have any ideas and more info?
Thanks for looking.

Brannam , can't make out initials but if maybe F B it could be Frederick Braddon , or Frederick Bowden .
the superimposed B may also be an attempt at a barum stamp.

Thanks Ed. under a bright light with a loop I can make out C H (and probably) Brannam. The monogram could be an F over a B but could be a P or a D also. Who was Frederick Braddon and were there other decorators who used marks?

I can see a ghostly A after it, so I think Ed's right that the BB is just a double stammped B and is part of BARON.
Typical rich blue colour and piped slip decoration for early 19th century BRANNAM BARON ware

Braddon was an artist who worked for them , also James Dewdney ( probably the most sought after) William Baron , arthur bamkin , , Thomas Liverton , frank Thomas , Beauchamp whimple, stanley Williams , reginald Pearce , some, your mark dates from 1898-1914 . of the names in my book

Thought you were making up names...
That's very helpful. Thanks. I'm delighted it might be a Whimple.
