Bird pen holder Empty Bird pen holder

May not be a pen holder, but that just seemed the most logical use for it after the stallholder and I had been through the other options of joss stick holder, candle holder and flower bowl.
Unmarked but well made. Combination of hand thrown pot and slab work, covered in a thick dark green glaze.
Hoping someone will recognise the style.
Approx 6" long, 6" high.
