Part II of WG sgraffito problem, marked 7725
It might not be too significant, but I'd better don't let it pass unnoticed: the slash is used in reverse to other slashes I've seen with WGP.
Bought together with the vase 222-30 (see the other thread). Seller was thinking both were made by Wekara. I know better now.
As mentioned in the other thread: same way of marking, different 'Handarbeit'-font, different numbers, totally different shape. And different use of sgraffito technique, hence different dekor.
Oh, and I nearly forgot: there is a '2' marked underneath Handarbeit.
Well, that's all I can say about this part of the puzzle the people from the region Ransbach Baumbach brought us.

Looks very like Dumler & Breiden

It´s fairly sure an Eckardt & Engler piece, possibly early 1960s.
Technically it seems to be an impressed decor ("Knibis") with white slip lines.
Several pieces are known with exactly this type of markings, position close to the edge of the base.
- impressed form number and size separated by something like an incised vertical stroke.
- same Handarbeit stamp, with "2" underneath,
Eckhardt & Engler delivered to the wholesaler "Artos". Relations to "Wekara" are possible but not documented.

Great information again, thank you so much.
Did you see the 2nd vase in the other thread? I bought it also as a 'Wekara' vase.
