It took weeks to find the very faint but characteristic mark on the side of this pot. The label refers to the gallery which sold it. 20cm tall

It's a capital R joined to an oversized curved capital E. Its in Yates Owen and Fournier if you have a copy.

I think that it dates from 1963 to 1966.
He left Rye then and did pot afterwards but I don't know if he continued to use this mark.
So it could be later but it looks right for the Sixties to me.

Thanks for the quick responses. There was this one and one other , same size but more of an abstract design . The glaze in the image has ? blown areas . Are they worth buying for £6 each do you think ?? Any idea of age- before or after Rye?
