Do you read Chinese, Sunny? If you can I'd be very interested in what the characters say.

no i don't, i go on internet and do my research... but noting as yet.. i didn't think this Chinese footed bowl is that old.. on till i was been told on here >>>>>>> Could have been made any time in the past 120 years. might be true, sometime with Chinese item's.. you think you've got something and at the end of the day is noting... Chinese are so clever that they can make an item look so old and you will fall for it, that is.... if you know noting about their works of art as for me am still learning but i do know more about Chinese item's now

sometimes i go to auction house, i learnt more at auction houses... i met James Williams the lion heart from antique road trip... at flog it, as my mate wanted me to accompany him to flog it... so James told me the best place to learn more about oriental stuff is at auction house... because they might have done the research for you to view... then you view and feel.. so then you picture how to spot oriental antique item's.

Personally I doubt it was made any earlier than the 90's.
