I fell across this potter today when researching Guy Sydenham ,Terry aquired Green Island salt glaze studio in 1988 and continued the tradition of the pioneering Dorset potter Guy Sydenham.
Green Island is a private Island in Poole harbour. Dorset ball clay was dug from the beach, then salt fired using a kiln built by Guy, fired with Carosine

Re: Terry Davies
I came across him at the Ceramics Fair that they hold in Rufford each summer maybe 7 or 8 years ago and bought a bonsai pot with a small olive tree in it that he was selling.
I kept in outside for several years but sold it last summer to a bonsai enthusiast who made me an offer I couldn't refuse.

Re: Terry Davies
I have one of his early pots, dated '93
Very tactile. Unfortunately hubby took an instant dislike to it and banned it from all the downstairs rooms.
Would love to have more of them.

He's updated his website so the old link doesn't work. Here's the new one.
