It only started a few days ago but is on for quite a few months i think - there'll also be some cabinets given over to small selections taken from Portsmouth residents' own collections.

i visited the Watts Gallery in Compton (nr Guildford today). If you have the chance to go, there is an excellent exhibition of work by Richard Dadd at the moment but ends at the start of November. Also, and perhaps more interestingly for this forum, the De Morgan Foundation have a large exhibition of ceramics and paintings (by Evelyn) at the Watts gallery on loan. IT'S WONDERFUL!
