thanks naomim it is very similar... that makes mark could it be one of their designers isn't it? perhaps i should email them and try to find out more on that makers mark itself

traditional salt glazed stoneware and reproductions of Art nouveau jugs originally

The jug is not by the company M. Girmscheid but by Werner Corzelius from Höhr-Grenzhausen.
Their mark since the 1970s is a "W" within a "C"!
