The lip looks like it would make it impossible to drink out of.
You could try drinking tea out of it Sunnyices - if you end up with tea in your lap you know it's just an ordinary bowl.

You don't give the dimensions but from the pictures it looks more like a sugar bowl than a tea bowl.
