Peter Thomas, Berwick upon Tweed

The base says 'Meadow Cottage Pottery'.

I visited Tower House Pottery in Berwick today where Peter and Margaret Thomas live and work. They were a delightful couple and very welcoming and kindly showed me round some of their own collection of studio pottery.

Peter throws the pots, plates, cups and plates etc and both he and Margaret decorate. Peter's designs are more representative as in the plate above and Margaret's work is naturalistic. You can see some examples on their website.

Both were trained a Farnham in the late 60s/early 70s under Henry Hammond and Paul Barron and have tales to tell about some of the great names of late 20th Century Studio Pottery.

Perhaps one of the mods could change the title of the thread to Peter and Margaret Thomas, Tower House Pottery, Berwick-upon-Tweed, please?

Found this recently, and pretty sure it's by Peter Thomas.
Pierced base, so presumably a kitchen utensil drainer.
