Just seen this mark, in 60s decorative art book and the slab vase had this mark on the front and attributed it to Ian Auld. Most Excellent
Can anybody concur??

Not Ian's mark and I'm not sure if he ever threw pots (except at his first wife, maybe!)

I imagine it's OK as it is around 50 years old.

The slab built pot could be by Ian but that isn't a mark that he used as a seal or at least isn't mentioned in any reference or has been seen by me on any of his pots. It could be a mark that he used as decoration though.

If you search on this site for Auld (top right of this page) and click on second topic down you will see his usual mark on that thread.
