Beswick ALbert Hallam in pink or just a want to be copy?
Hi
A little pink curved vase with gold painted rim and a petroleum sheen glaze. Reminded me of the Beswick Albert Hallam shapes.

I'm pretty sure it's not Beswick, I'd guess Sadler, but that is a guess.

Re: lustre jug England curved sculptural form
Glaze / Colour / "ENGLAND" mark / Gilding, is what makes me think it could be Sadler.

lustre jug England curved sculptural form
Hi all,
Could anbody shed light on this piece identity? It is a lustre glaze, and very sculptural in design, I am finding it difficult to identify becuase of using 'lustre' in the search terms, has anybody seen this form / style before? The base is marked with moulded . England' and the letter ' G' with a small gold painted mark, perhaps like an (highlt stylised) anchor i dont know, it may be an incomplete letter also, but seems more like a motif to me.
here is the jug:
another view:
here is the base the edge shows up white in phto but it does have wear.
Thanks for any info!

Re: lustre jug England curved sculptural form
Could it be Crown Devon?

Re: lustre jug England curved sculptural form
I say that because there was one with a slightly different shape listed as Crown Devon on ebay. But no base shot, unfortunately, so couldn't confirm it.

Found several more via google images 'vintage lustre jug'.
Various sinuous shapes, most marked ENGLAND on the base, plus various impressed letters which probably denote the shape, plus gilder's marks.
No makers mark, though.
