Any info on this jug/pitcher please?
Has it been mass produced? I saw another one in a local shop identical to this but black and green, is it ceramic or pottery? Thanks heaps!

Re: Any info on this jug/pitcher please?
It looks Late Victorian to early 20th Century. It was probably factory made - it looks as though it was made in a mould (slip-cast) rather than wheel made.
It's unusual to have an inscribed monogram on the base of a factory piece; that might be the decorator's mark rather than the factory mark.
'Ceramic' is an umbrella term for pottery, china, porcelain, etc.

Nothing to add on what Naomi has said except that the type of ceramic/pottery that it is made from appears to be earthenware like the majority of factory produced items.
