German Studio Pottery?

I'm guessing its German but can't decipher the signature. Anyone got any ideas?

It says handarbeit. Handmade in German I think. Doesn't help identifying the maker though...

That was my thought as well. Seems strange that they went to the trouble of marking it like that but no makers mark. May have been a sticker.

Looked at small on my phone I was sure it was handarbeit but big on the computer I'm not so sure.

it says handarbeit for sure in an older writing style
