only two weeks left to see a really great exhibition of mainly ceramics and textile works by contemporary artists who have taken inspiration from the museums permanent collections. This museum is sometimes just fair to middling, but this exhibition really stands out and my partner and I splashed out and bought some work by artist, Judes Crow. We bought 4 heads from a larger work entitled, ' Sixty Children Lost '. Also in the gallery's collection are ceramics, furniture and paintings which can be found on the first and second floors, as can the period room sets which have some nice nostalgic pieces in them (including a carpet that I remember my granddad having).
