Studio vase TW mark and cross mark - help appreciated!
Hello all,
This is another vase I've had knocking about for ages, waiting for a flash of inspiration to come to me regarding it's origins. But 10 years on, I feel its time to seek outside help!
It's a small ,heavy but nicely shaped, grey/brown glazed vase with incised decoration. There are two distinct marks on the base. The one on the left looks like a cross, possibly incorporating the letter L, and the other looks like an intertwined T and W. I've been through the whole studio pottery handbook, and various websites but nothing is jumping out at me as a match. It could just be me being a wally, or this could be some unknown maker, I just thought the marks looked familar (maybe I've been looking at the too much!)
Anyway, any ideas much appreciated - thanks in advance!
