Help with Wachter Unterglinde blue pitcher
Does anyone have an idea on who or what Wachter Unterglinde is? My searches have not been very fruitful. We have this pitcher with it incised on the base.
Thank you in advance.

Re: Help with Wachter Unterglinde blue pitcher
Unterglinde is a part of the small town of Appen, right next to Hamburg, Germany.
The Potter or Pottery "Wächter" (Waechter) doesn't exist anymore, at least I didn't find anything. And Appen is just a few (!) miles away from my hometown...
Strange, that a piece from such a small pottery came to the USA...
"Handarbeit" means handmade and it looks like a handthrown piece.
"73" is most likely the year of making (1973), not a form number.

I found another Wächter piece at ebay from an old 2011 auction: 320673948517
Seems like he/they also made pieces with interesting decors/glazes, looking like studio pieces.

Thank you very much. This piece was purchased from a German dealer and imported by us.
