Steventon Pottery
Pair of egg cups with integral plate/tray.
Inscribed Steventon Pottery, plus entwined SP mark on the base and on one of the egg cups.
Modern studio pottery; not to be confused with Brown & Steventon pottery of Burslem.
I bought it at a charity shop in Overton, Hampshire, which is just a few miles from the hamlet of Steventon. The lady at the charity shop thought there may have been a pottery there in the past but there is also a Steventon outside Oxford so might be from there.

A Garlic Keeper - but not by Phil Rogers? - SP mark, Steventon Pottery
Hello Folks,
This is a well made covered pot which I believe is called a garlic keeper. I bought it at a french bootsale.
The mark to the side is very similar to that of Phil Rogers - but there are a couple of differences to convince me it is not one of his.
So, can anyone recognise this piece? Is it Englishn French, or from somewhere else?
Much appreciated to hear any comments.

Re: Steventon Pottery
It's by Steventon Pottery, possibly 1980s. I've found them signed Steventon Pottery but I don't know if it was based at Steventon in Oxfordshire or the village of the same name in Hampshire. I'm midway between the two and several have turned up around here.
