Re: Mary Rich
Again, thanks to all posting all these great and useful pix.
I have never been to one of these fairs, most of it leaves me completely cold,
However I would make a bee line for a Mary Rich or a Geoffrey Swindell's
pitch and instantly empty my bank account.

Re: Mary Rich
It looks like something Mary would have done to me but I would think earlier.

Re: Mary Rich
I have checked back through CPA books and it is most probably from the middle to late 1970s.

Re: Mary Rich
Thanks for checking, Studio. I’ve had one or two pieces before her gold lustre style but not as early as that. Thank you for your help!

Re: Mary Rich
Maybe HelenC will find a Mary Rich teapot lid in one of her mixed auction lots?
As I wrote elsewhere, it is by Mary Rich from the early 1970s.

Re: Mary Rich
Thanks for the time period SP.
I will be using it as a plant pot so no lid required

Re: Mary Rich
Lovely pot . No Mary Rich lids unfortunately!
My houseplants also have some very classy planters - nothing like a bit of overhanging foliage to hide a chipped rim or a missing lid!

Re: Mary Rich
Micki Schloessingk of course has nearly always done wood fired Salt Glaze. Now if that were only later Mary Rich later work you would not be using it as a plant pot Dan
